Default Foliage mixes for hamsters?

I'm curious since I've seen them in the hamster sections of pet stores a lot recently, how safe are foliage mixes like these for hamsters?

http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...rant-and-apple
http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...e-patch-snacks
http://www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pe...-dandelion-mix

(I know they're in different animal sections but they show up in the hamster part and say they're safe for them??)

All three of those particular mixes are safe for hamsters to have I think it would be a wonderful treat to offer, and they're much healthier than some of the super sugary and unnatural treats out there. As for how safe foliage mixes are in general, you need to check the ingredient list to ensure that all the individual things in it are safe, but otherwise, it really doesn't matter which section they're from. Best wishes

Which unsafe ingredients do I need to look out for?

Those are fine, there are quite a few different mixes around now & most are safe, if you're unsure about any ingredients that might not be safe just ask, what is & isn't safe would be quite a long list to include all plants!

They are safe, but the bags are quite big and expensive, especially when most owners only have 1-3 hamsters. Pets At Home sell other flower mixes which are a bit cheaper and smaller so they will be used up faster.
