Default Anyone have Science Selective biscuits?

I'm just wondering if they're supposed to have "seeds" in the middle. I've had my bag a good few months. It was frozen for a week when I got it but have only just started using it again 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I break the biscuits in half and put a few in a small jar lid with a bit of boiling water to soak them, for Charlie. But I noticed most of them seem to have a dark bit inside and like a long seed or two. Is this normal? I haven't broken into them in the past just used them whole.

So the reason I'm asking is after finding a moth in Charlie's cage the other night! And suspecting the bag of Science Selective as I only started using it again 2 or 3 weeks ago. And wondering if they are seeds or bugs!

I vaguely remembered there being some but I've just had a double check of mine for you and broken a couple up. There are some small brown seeds in the biscuits a few millimetres long.

When I used to crush the science selective biscuits for Sherbet's wet food I noticed that the supreme science selective had small brown linseeds in every biscuits.

Phew thank you! Still a mystery about the moth then.

Yep, they always have these seeds. Just opened a new bag and it's still the same- definitely seeds not bugs.

Serendipity, I`m sure they are linseeds. I had a bag for Chubs when he wasn`t able to eat normally and had to use these and prepare his other mix combined. He never liked the linseeds so I always removed them with a spoon when the biscuits were soft, or when I broke them smaller in my pestle & mortar. They are very good biscuits for older hams or hams that have dodgy teeth. x
