Default Snak Shak log safe?

Are Snak Shak log safe for hamsters? Mostly asking because of the pine wood shaving. Is pine only dangerous in aspen form or all forms?

Ingredients:
Pine wood shaving, cassava starch, alfalfam straw liqui mix (water, sodium alginate, potassium sorbate, propionic acid, honey, glycerin, propylene glycol).

Yes, snak shak logs are safe One of my hamsters has one and he really likes it. However, they are made of honey and the ones filled with seeds do contain corn. I do trust my dwarf hamster (who is diabetes prone) not to eat it all at once, because he's had it for maybe a month or so and hasn't done much to it, although he does chew on it. But if you have a diabetes prone dwarf who you think may devour it, it may not be the best idea. Otherwise they're great for chewing and for something for your hamster to play with.

I just saw this Oatmeal_Cupcake. All my hammies have the Snak Shack log and they all love it. Not so much to chew on as to run in and out of, and to climb on top of. Almond, my dwarfie ham uses his as the perch for climbing into his container for playtime. The Syrians chew on them once in a while but the logs last forever.

They're safe except for the sugar content, as mentioned. My robo had one for a long time and only nibbled on it every so often, I ended up throwing it out after she started using it as a toilet xD it becomes a bit sticky and the color runs when wet.

Thank you everyone! It's good to hear that they are safe with the exception of the sugar!
