Default Banana Chips

So Loki loves banana chips. I know he shouldn't have too many because of the sugar but I wanted to get him a little treat. I was looking at these and wondered if they would be OK? They don't seem to have any added sugar or anything but I just wanted people's opinions.

They're fine. Read through the additional info and all seems good.

They should be safe unless they're sticky, some dried banana is fairly sticky & could cause pouch problems.

My Russian dwarf hamster has been eating a very small piece of dried banana for most of his life but make sure it isn`t that soft/soggy dried banana. You want the hard dried banana. Break a small piece off (about 5mm) and this should be big enough without feeding the whole banana slice!

I now use a pestle & mortar to make his soft food for him and dried banana is crushed into this for added flavour as he can`t eat it hard now. Stores like Lidl, Aldi, Asda/Tesco all sell those small packets of mixed nuts too with hazelnuts, cashew, walnut, brazil etc....these make nice natural treats in small amounts. x
