Default Best pellet feed UK?

Hi all, Myrcella has teeth problems and I will have to move her onto a pellet feed so I can soften it and know she will get all the nutrients at the same time. Which is the best pellet feed to give?

Thanks

I'm not sure how many there are available tbh but the most popular is the science selective.

We mix this in - Supremes Science selective.

She may not take it though as some don't fuss for it. Soft food you could use is porridge with some wheatgerm mixed in - cooked mashed mixed veg, soaked weetabix. Personally with a struggling hammy I would add a sprinkle of sugar to boost her energy levels. You could also cook brown rice and some pasta as well as puried chicken, mashed potato and veg. Cottage cheese is liked too.

I would honestly only suggest Science Selective.I've seen other pellets from the UK but they're not nearly as good quality

When Meat had to go on to a soft diet because of his dental problems the vet recommended Science Selective to us. Not all hamsters will take to it but Meat really seemed to enjoy it. The only other complete food I've seen in shops has been the Pets at Home Hamster Nuggets but I'm not sure how they'd work if they needed to be softened.

I used to add a bit of variety to Meat's diet with some of the things that Souffle has suggested and that seemed to go down well with him.

Thanks all I've ordered some science selective. I've been giving her porridge and soft veggies but I'll try those other things too, bought some weetabix also

I buy Science Selective and PAH nuggets to add to our base mix and both are enjoyed by the boys. The SS would soak very easily I think as that's quite a light airy biscuit, I'm sure the PAH nuggets would too, but would perhaps take a little longer as they're more of a dense pellet.
