Smile Pork and Hamsters :)

Hi. My mum and I were just wondering why cant hamsters eat pork and why is it known to be bad for them? Anyone know?

It's kind of a grey area,but most likely it would be due to the sodium being so high in just about all pork products.Considering there are tons of healthier options,it isn't really a big deal to not be able to feed just one type of meat

Pork is very fatty, too much fat for hams usually & pork products usually contain a lot of salt & other additives that probably aren't safe.
Best avoided really.
