Question Mr Johnsons's Advance Mix!?!?!

I wanted to know everyones views on Mr Johnson's Advance Mix.. I used to give my hamsters the normal mixed and then moved onto the advance mix but wanted some more opinions. Also, if you think you have something better that I can use then please let me know.

Thanks!

Harry Hamster is better, and Mr. Johnson's products tend to be quite low quality from what I've seen Harry Hamster or Burgess would be the best options though,as they are the highest quality mixes in the UK.

It has a very high proportion of wheat & not an awful lot else & the fibre is really low so I would only use it as maybe a small part of your hams diet if at all, for a syrian you can't go far wrong with Harry Hamster.

Thanks, I'll probably go with Harry Hamster in that case.

Through my research the fibre in Mr Johnson's is up at 19%. I thought that was enough?..

On their site it says fibre 5% which is what I was going by.
Mr Johnson's Hamster & Gerbil FOOD

Ingredients:Wheat, Wheatfeed, Soya Bean Meal, Oats, Sunflower Seed Meal, Linseed, Calcium Carbonate, Vegetable Oil & Fat, Mono Calcium phosphate,Bio Moss ®, Sodium Chloride, Verm-X ® Herb Blend.

Large proportion of wheat as stated before,as well as moss which could be unsafe. It also contains an unspecified herb blend presumably as labelled to get rid of "vermin"(parasites, most likely)and since there is no specific list it is safe to assume that there could be any amount of unsafe ingredients within that loophole they gave themselves.

If a food doesn't give an exact full ingredients list,do not feed it to any animal. It's questionable, shady, and overall far too unsafe to risk it.

Sorry! I was reading the wrong thing. Your right. That definitely isn't enough. Thank you for pointing that out.

Thank you! I think I'm going to go to Harry Hamster like I used to use when I first started owning hamsters.
