I've just been looking up how to 'pop' it! Hmm think I am going to get some, seems it will do me good as well as the hamster!

I'm sure it will & it is nice to share
I'm too lazy I just get the puffs from ratrations! I think you can make a kind of porridge with it too but I haven't tried it yet....

I have just bought some new baby food for Willow (can't remember flavour, I'll check later) and she loves it

I bought some baby food yesterday from Boots (the chemist). For 80 pence, I got 70g.
Here is the link: Ellas Kitchen Carrots Carrots Carrots Stage 1 from 4 Months-70g - Boots
It's a plain carrot, smooth puree. The ingredients are carrot and water. I'm pretty sure it's safe.

Can hamsters have lemon juice (like in the baby food)?

Carrot puree is fine, hamsters really shouldn't have lemon juice, the amount in a teaspoon of baby food is going to be pretty minute but personally I still wouldn't give anything with lemon juice at all.

Has anyone ever made their own to give to their hamster?

I've made my own quite a few times, baby food is just blended or pureed food really so making your own is about the safest option, you know exactly what's in it, if I'm having something ham safe they can have some too!

Do you think I could make puree in a nutribullet?

Sarah how much depends on why you feed it, hams really don't need soft food unless they are ill or old so if it's just a treat then half to one teaspoon would be ample I think.

chesca I've never used a nutribullet so I don't know how much liquid you need in those, if you're just giving carrot as a treat a nice little chunk of raw carrot would be the best thing.
With something like that you don't even need a blender you can just cook it & mash it the old fashioned way!
