Question Butternut squash

Hi, can Syrians have butternut squash please? It's in baby food as "sweet squash with chicken" by Hipp Organic, trying to get Skittle to eat as he's lost a fair bit of weight and has gone off his normal food due to medication. Thanks.

That's fine, squash is much the same as pumpkin & both are safe, Flynt rather liked that particular baby food

Good luck with Skittle's weight gain. Porridge made with water or kitten milk may also be a good option (as you may know).

Thank you both, that's great . I did know about the porridge but but haven't made any yet to be honest . I must try it.

Does it matter if it goes thick and that once it's gone cold? Just leave it for him to eat at his leisure?

I usually make porridge a bit on the thin side, it does thicken up as it cools & I give it cold, I've even put it in the fridge & given some (at room temp) the next day as it is a bit hard to make one teaspoon of porridge when I'm not eating it!
