Yes. You could take it apart to remove the nut or wooden ball.

This is a question I'd like a serious answer to as well. I give my rodents hazelnut milk, coconut milk and soya milk as a treat sometimes and would like to know if almond milk is safe. In the wild squirrels eat acorns and they are more toxic than almonds aren't they? :-/

Apparently almonds are ok as long as they are the "sweet" variety not bitter, as these contain levels of cyanide too high for a hammys' liver to process. They should also have their skins removed as these too contain toxins which aren't very good for them.
However, as i am unsure of how to differentiate between the almond varieties in the supermarket I personally avoid them.
You could always make a special mix of Sweep's favorite treats and put those inside instead

It does look like a walnut in the picture doesn't it!
I don't think the skins are poisonous exactly, its more whether or not the almonds have been sprayed with anything. Though if its in a toy I would assume the nut would be thoroughly cleaned first. Store bought almonds I would remove the skins I think. I read someone's review about the colored wood staining their rabbit's tongue :/

I found that with a wooden toy (triangle one with a ball in the middle) that the coloring stained the fur of my rats :-/

Any almonds meant for human consumption are ok, not sure what else is in the almond milk as I know most of those milks have additives but the almonds would be ok.

Re Almonds, I just won't take the risk with Pip and I didn't with Forrest either, there are lots of other nuts that will give Sweep lots of variety.
I think the old adage that " If in doubt don't do it" is a good baseline to follow
