Default Antos/Whimzees

I'm just wondering what the difference is between the Antos and Whimzee dog treats?? I know people say the Whimzees are just the American name, but on the Viovet website, they are BOTH listed as different products! The only difference I can see is in the picture the green Whimzee toothbrush has white "bristles" whereas the Antos green toothbrush is all green ... Otherwise they appear to be the same? Are they the same company or am I missing something??

Whimzee brushes in the US have the bristles the same as the rest of the brush. This is very strange I think as long as the ingredients are the same though it isn't a problem.Whimzees are just a US brand whereas Antos is UK based,I believe.

I've bought Whimzees Chews in the UK and the bristles are the same colour as the rest of the brush but I've never actually seen an Antos chew for sale in any of the shops near me to be able to compare how they look.

On the Viovet site the green ones look different, but may well be the same? Am unsure!

Here is the link to the Antos toothbrush : https://www.viovet.co.uk/Antos_Cerea...=antos&sct_r=2

And here is the link to the Whimzee toothbrush : https://www.viovet.co.uk/Whimzees_To...g_Chew/c19295/

In the pictures the green ones look different ...

The green one with white bristle is the large one the smaller one has green bristle. I've seen them when I've been in pet shops.

But I am sure that they are the same

Interesting! I get the ones on the first link (the Antos mini ones). I seem to remember they were called Whimzees in the US and Antos in the Uk. Maybe the one with the white bristles is a new version.

I would go with the Antos as they are a more reasonable price. It seems the import cost from the US to the UK is making them way more expensive than they should be to get Whimzees at least, but Antos seem about the same quality anyways.

I had a lare green one before and it was all green?! I am too confused! I try not to get the green ones partly as Sweep doesn't like them but the fact they have algae in scares me ... It makes me think of green ponds! So when I ordered them from RR I think it was I just put in the comments box for them to not send green ones - and they didn't this time! Not sure I'd get that choice anywhere else!

sorry, I wasn't meant to put extra large instead of large, they have white bristles.

This link shows the different sizes and colours better

The whimzees green ones are due to alfalfa and not algae, not sure about antos though

I think it is only the white (beige) ones that are algae. The others are all vegetable based. I remember trying all of them and Charlie wouldn't eat the white/beige ones.

Amazon answers (scroll down) lists the ingredients

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Antos-Mixed...ds=Antos+chews

You used to be able to buy packs of four mini ones and I think the algae white/beige ones were sold separately. I only ever get the mini ones - they're a good size for a hamster.
