Default Just a quick question ...

Due to food allergies, all our breads, pastas and cereals (and other stuff!) is gluten free ... What I'd like to know is whether Sweep could have a plain piece of gluten free pasta, or whether I should just buy a small bag of ordinary pasta for him?
For those who don't know, gluten free foods are items that do not contain WHEAT, BARLEY or RYE. Usually our pasta is made of either rice flour or corn flour (I think!) ...
This is the one we currently have in the cupboard Sainsbury's - Please enable cookies or JavaScript ...
Would he also be allowed gluten free cereal or as a special treat a bit of the gluten free bread? I think someone else here the other day bought themselves some normal bread as they prefer brown and I always get the white gluten free instead of the brown (because it's nicer!) so he could possibly have a tiny bit of that seeing as they wouldn't miss it as they don't eat their crusts! I am considering making the pasta for dinner tonight so thought I could put a piece aside for Sweep but wanted to double check first!

Should be fine, I'd only give the pasta cooked though although I know they can eat normal pasta uncooked I wouldn't be so sure about something with rice.
Most grains are safe so it should all be ok as an occasional treat.

Thanks. Cooked it, and then put the sauce on before I saved any, so he'll have to have it next time! Peas instead LOL

Hahaha! I was obviously in the kitchen whilst I was cooking which meant I couldn't check the laptop, so totally forgot about the pasta! By the time he eventually wakes up for his 2 peas though they will be stone cold!

Lol then he needs to be awake by dinner time! I could try reheating them, but probably not much point for just 2 peas!

And at least I remembered to put them in his bowl before putting anything on them!

Haha yeah there isn't much point. Peanut is still a bit hesitant to take anything from me but she does respond to me which is good.
