Re: Vegtables and Salmon
I wouldn't put veg in with dry mix, on top of houses or bridges would be fine, they do usually eat it or leave it where it is but I have had hams hide veg away so best to keep an eye on them until you figure out what they're going to do with it!

Re: Vegtables and Salmon
Yes we did post at the same time there lol. I won't put the food in the bowl and will supervise upon feeding. Will find a fun place for nutmeg to find it, perhaps on bridges, platforms and in houses but after 10 or so mins will take veg away as I don't want it to go bad.

Re: Vegtables and Salmon
You can leave it a little more than 10 minutes.
Maybe offer it to her when she gets up in the evening, depending on your routine with her, if she doesn't seem interested straight away you could leave it till morning, if it's gone by then maybe check her hoard in case she's stashed but that is unlikely, she'll probably have either eaten it or decided she doesn't fancy it & have left it where it is.

Re: Vegtables and Salmon
If it doesn't get eaten by putting it in the cage, you could also try offering it as a treat and hand feeding it that way as well or do a portion of the vegetables that way and a portion of the vegetables in the cage!
