Default Mr Johnsons food

Just got this food today, gonna try and put nutmeg on it as not happy with her current Harry Hamster.
Anyone else think it smells of bubblegum? It's a very surprising looking mix when you open the packet. The nutrition looks good so not to concerned. Any opinions on this one? Concerned about the smell.

Never tried it before but the fibre is really too low for a hamster. There seems to be a herb blend in the mix which could be causing the smell? Some mix's actually have added flavouring which I find very odd.

Another good mix is Burgess supa hamster harvest, My hamsters seem to prefer it over Harry hamster although it is hard to come by in shops and you will probably have to buy it online.

That's the problem, with this shifts I work I often can't be home for deliveries which is a pain. Some people recommended it so I thought I would give it a go, it does have a herb blend not many details of that blend. I supplement foods anyway with pasta, oats ect so it's not a huge issue with the fibre

I had this problem and done a thread here - Mr Johnsons hamster food

I threw the food away. I figured something that smelt that sweet could be no good for my hams!

My hams are on Burgess Supahamster and it's the best we've tried. Can you get the deliveries to your work if you're not going to be? That's what I do as I'm out all day.

I don't like it, it smells like cough syrup to me! Loads of other people seem to like it, and my hams actually do seem to enjoy it too, but I can't stand the smell.

I mix it in with science selective biscuits and harry hamster food. I rather like the smell!
