Like a lot of animals once the babies are old enough to eat solid food they quickly lose any ability to digest lactose, a tiny bit of normal milk once in a while shouldn't do any harm at all really but certainly not lactose in any quantity in milk, cheese or yogurt.

Ok thanks cypher ! I think I'll stick to warm water or plain oats so it doesn't get over complicated. A huge cartoon of lactomilk is a bit unnecessary for me as a treat occasionally for one hammy.
EDIT: Wow in the time it took for me to write that, you two already cleared up the issue on lactose
