Default Any recipes for homemade hamster snacks?

I was wondering, maybe some of you know some tried and good recipes for homemade snacks like biscuits or drops... some snacks that you can bake in your own kitchen and give to your hamster, knowing that they won't contain any fancy colouring substances or conservants, or unneded sugar/salt?

I thought about baking some hamster drops using just grated carrots, pumpkin seeds, flour and water. It would be just an experiment though. I don't know if it will result in something more than general mess in the kitchen so, do you have any ideas or recipes you would like to share?

I've tried a couple of times. The problem I've found is the amount you make, it doesn't keep like shop bought treats (which keep because of chemical preservatives so there's that ) so I find I end up throwing away most of it. Still better overall I think just make sure to make teeny tiny portions . I got some great ideas from ErinsAnimals on youtube, she has a Baking for Pets playlist. Some stuff for other animals but the hamster relevant ones are clearly labeled. Hope that helps a bit

A big hit with my little Syrian, Percy is these oaty treats
Oats
Brown Rice
Crushed Mealworms

Water

Eye-ball amounts and put in bowl. Mix well until it turns into a dough. Roll in balls or any shape you want. Put in oven for 5 mins or until slightly brown.

Oh, there are some really neat recipes on this channel. Maybe i'll try the cannelloni :3 or fruity heart treats, since luckily my hybrids don't suffer from diabetes and are perfectly fine eating fresh fruits once in a while...

Oaty treats i'll also try I guess a fist large amount of dough would make mor than enough treats for my four hammies :3

Yes that would do. They last about a week refrigerated.
