Re: erm Baby food?
U can give baby food,as long as you make sure it doesn't have salt, garlic or onions.. there might be a few other things too. I found a little bit of porridge is just as good, with a tiny bit of honey if you want to give it as a treat. My Syrian also loved mashed sweet potato and butternut squash. It's cheaper than actual baby food but just as tasty and nutritious and has more vitamins if you make it from fresh veg

Re: erm Baby food?
All of mine have enjoyed chicken and sunflower seeds and I've given plain porridge to them which has always gone down well. Two of my Chinese enjoyed a little bit of boiled egg but James is a little bit more hesitant. With regards to baby foods, the one I'd recommend the most is the Grandpa's Sunday Lunch from Cow and Gate. All of mine have enjoyed it a great deal.

Re: erm Baby food?
Yep you can give them baby food...we've used baby food to hide meds in for rats / mice / hamsters in the past
Our hamsters have loved mealworms (not too many as they're fatty), sunflower seeds, plain popcorn, porridge oats, scrambled egg, kale and peas!

Re: erm Baby food?
I would only give baby food to a ham that is sick, it is great for hiding meds in, or having trouble eating normal food for some reason, or for a very elderly ham as a treat.
You'd do better sticking to normal ham foods as treats, a very small piece of chicken maybe once a week is a good treat for young hams particularly as it helps boost the animal protein in the diet, other than that small pieces of different (safe) veg daily are the very best thing to give, sunflower or pumpkin seeds in moderation make good treats too.
