Default Is it safe to feed Syrians Lemon Balm?

The topic came up in another thread in relation to dwarf hamsters, but I just wanted to check if it were okay to give to Syrians.

I've been needing to get a lemon balm plant for tea for a while now and it would be nice to share some with my little Donny.

Herbs are pretty much the same for all species, lemon balm is a member of the mint family & safe, with any aromatic plant I'd only give very small pieces at least to begin with as it can be a bit overwhelming for them if you put too much in the cage at once.

I think it would be safe because, like cypher said, it is a member of the mint family, but I would gradually introduce it to your hammy to make sure there aren't any problems.
