Mucki Protein Mix

I've been looking on zooplus for some tasty snacks for the hamsters. I came across the Mucki protein mix which has shrimp, gammaru, mealworm, and crickets.

Has anyone tried this before? i'd like your opinions on it if so

I think it looks pretty good!

Yeah I literally just bought some and Cc won't even look at it lol

I do notice she's not fussed on the mealworms in her food mix either so it's maybe just her being awkward. It's a great idea if your hams like the dried mealworms.

I've never actually tried it because all of mine have really hated crickets! They do love their mealworms & eat the shrimp in their food mix so maybe it's just something about crickets although they also hate silk worm pupa (I think that's what they are!) it might well be worth a try & would be a good food for any ham that would eat it & needs a bit of a protein boost.

Winston absolutely loves live mealworms and the mealworm pupa, and live crickets. Myrcella doesn't seem too fussed about it to be honest. Winston sometimes like the dried ones, i haven't tried them with Myrcella though.

I'll probably buy it, and if they don't like it i'll give it to the birds or give my friends some to try with their hamsters
