I'd read what percentages the food contains.
The recommended:

Protein - 17% - 20%
Fibre - 8% - 15%
Fat - 4% - 7%

This is what their everyday food should contain, It's not the recommendation for the overall hamster nutrition.

I usually give my Syrian 2 Table spoons. Im not too sure how much they're supposed to get.

I've just had a read and for syrian hamsters 20g of food a day should be given. It says to give 10g in morning and 10g in the evening, but seeing as though they're nocturnal i'd just put 20g in when you wake up. Just as long as they have food.
