Am I a bad mommy for forgetting to refill my hamster's food bowl? :(

So my hamster is a syrian, she is a 1 year old. I am 19 and I feel so bad because I had forgot to refill her food bowl. I was so busy with college with doing homework and studying then yesterday I heard her squeaking a lot then I saw that her bowl is empty then i quickly refilled it and immediately she started eating it. I feel like a bad mommy and owner

. This is the first time it happened she is my 2nd hamster. This never happened to my first hamster I had her for 2 years. I always look into her tank to check to see if her bowl needs to be refilled but this time for the first time I forgot. I feel so bad

One time won't hurt, but try to feed her before you feed yourself

Hammies store their food. If you are giving plenty then she will have a secret stash for days when food is scarce. If she doesn't have a larder store then you need to give her more food than you are currently doing.

Dont feel too bad, try not to let it happen again but at least your Hamster knows you will refill if the food is all gone!

Don't worry about it, sometimes I forget to change my hamsters water once a day.

Once won't hurt, I was ill so my mum went up to feed my hedgehog and he was stood in his food bowl waiting for his dinner, I felt so guilty

That's so sweet him standing in his dish waiting for his dinner lol!
I once fell asleep after having a Sunday roast and woke up to see my 2 standing at their dishes waiting for their roast bits of chicken, brocolli and carrot. I felt so bad and apologised lol! I did give them a bit extra for my lateness.
