Harlan teklad for hamsters?

I'm going to be switching my rats over to harlan tekland 2014. I was wondering if I could feed it to my hamster also.

Yes. I use the 2018 formula, but so long as your own mix is higher in protein, it's worth a shot. Usually you use HT or other blocks to up your protein level though.

I wouldn't, though I have. Some hamsters do really take to the blocks, but a lot vastly prefer the mix. I think it's nice to be offering a variety myself.
