Hay

I brought Rupert these treats from Viovet - Burgess Excel Salad Snacks for Small Animals (the banana & papaya ones) - they arrived today and there is quite a lot of strands of hay in there too which I didn't realise.

I've read that hay can hurt a hamsters pouches, but would it be ok to give Rupert if I snip it with scissors into little tiny pieces?

Hello again. Hamsters do okay with hay. I give mine timothy hay with marigold flowers. The hay in the treats should be fine.
