Question how much fresh food?

How much fresh food should a hammy have in her diet? Ive read alsorts of different opinions, some places saying a small slice of carrot/ apple/ cucumber (or whatever) every other day, other people seem to give their hammies bowls full of fresh nibbles a day!
I began giving Jocardi a little slice of fresh food every other day, but now I give her a little something every day.

My questions are...if you give your hammy cucumber or carrot, how much do you give them? A chunk? a thick or thin slice?
Cheese? how big a piece?

And, any other recommendations you can recommend she might enjoy?
Thank you x

I always go by dwarfs get the size of my finger nail and the Syrians get a little larger, but its a guessing game to be honest, any wet food needs to be watched if your hamster poo turns damp you have gave to much, little and often works best,

I just take it slow to begin with then give them more as they get used to it, I give fresh veg & or sprouted seeds every day & don't really worry about the amount although obviously I do keep an eye out for any signs of trouble but they never seem to eat more than they need. I actually give my little Chinese really big bits so she can't hide them somewhere I won't be able to find them!
Two of mine adore cheese so rather than give a big bit once in a while I give them a little teeny bit fairly frequently.

My hamsters get fresh food every other day pretty much, the size varies depending on what they're getting, if its cucumber for example I just cut off a wedge for them, if its pepper I'll just put a long slice of it in the cage. I probably give them too much but I always just take the left overs out of the cage the following morning anyways

I give Archie and Twinkle fresh food everyday and try and ensure it's different.
I go by the size of my little pinkie and half it.
Like RubyRose, I take any leftovers out the next day, but lately there's been nothing to remove as they love the fresh stuff.
