What fresh food have you provided for your Hamster today?

Sirius has had a cucumber slice & some cherry tomato

Charlie had broccoli and a piece of cheese last night along with a dried cricket and his hamster food. Sorry that was more than veg! The night before he had cauliflower and tonight will be small piece of runner bean, tomorrow carrot. That's his kind of 5 day rotation!

I haven't tried cauliflower yet, I'll make a note in my head

I would advise against tomatoes, as they are pretty acidic, and hams don't handle acidity very well.

My Syrian adores a fresh floret of broccoli and a couple cooked macaroni noodles, and my Robo's favorite seems to be bits of mild cheddar cheese ^_^

I wasn't too sure about them to be honest, I only gave him a little bit but will avoid them from now on. Still need to try Sirius with cheese!

Last night Melvin had a few peas, I am thinking today will be apple day It will go down well I am sure!

Oh dear please don't shout at me but you know they say that variety is the spice of life well.........
Today my girls each had carrot tops (the green leafy bit), celery tops, a mallow leaf, pansy flower, campanula flowers, plantain and a dandelion leaf, all grown and picked from the garden.
In their fresh food dish they had cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, sweetcorn and half a grape

I try to give a different variety of things each day

My girls are happy and healthy eating leaves, flowers and veg, they get up every morning waiting for it

Mine had mange tout and baby sweetcorn today Yesterday they had broccoli and carrot.Tomorrow will be apple,cheese and banana.(not the dwarf ones-they will get cheese and broccoli)

Yesterday was a pasta night and also walnuts. Tonight is going to be spinach leaves, cucumber and carrots.
