2 different varieties of Supreme Science Selective?

Ok uh, so I noticed that there are 2 versions of Supreme Science Selectives.

One of them is a uh, fatter version and is creamish yellow in colour which someone on another forum, kindly sent to me because SSS are no longer readily available in Singapore at the moment.

Another friend of mine managed to buy SSS, but is the flatter, browner version.

Apparently my hamsters prefers the cream-yellow one more.

I read that the browner one is the "new" version, but I don't think they're replacing the yellow ones totally since the ones my friend bought expires in December this year, and the ones my friend's sent me are only expiring late 2015, anyone know why there are 2 versions of SSS?

Could it be the same as Harry and Hazel Hamsters, where different versions are available in different locations?
