Dragon Fruit?
Can hamsters eat dragon fruit? I'm just wondering -- will they choke? Is it too sweet for them?

Re: Dragon Fruit?
I've never seen it on any safe food lists anywhere so I'd be a bit dubious, I know hams can eat kiwi fruit but generally fruit seeds aren't good, I've never had dragon fruit but I think it's full of seeds so unless someone else knows better I'd say better not to risk it.

Re: Dragon Fruit?
That's actually what I came here to get the answer to, I have dragon fruit actually, and yes it is filled with seeds. But otherwise is it safe?

Re: Dragon Fruit?
Sadly, the seeds in the dragon fruit have a very high chance to choke the hamster. i do not recommend feeding hamsters dragon fruit.

Re: Dragon Fruit?
I don't know anything about the actual fruit sadly, but if it is safe then I'm sure there's a way to sieve the seeds out
