Question Coconut? Pomegranate?

Hello! Is coconut safe for hamsters? And is pomegranate safe for hamsters too? Thank you!

Yes coconuts are suitable for hampsters, but try to use dried coconut for safer food. MAKE SURE YOU USE AS A TREAT NOT A MEAL FOOD

Also pomegranate are acidic and high in sugar and are not suitable for hamsters

Coconut is fine but if you get dried/desiccated coconut for your ham check it doesn't have any added sugar.
No idea about pomegranate but I would be a bit dubious.

What I've found is only mention of pomegranate being on the DO NOT FEED list. The seeds are both citrusy/sweet (acidy) and it has a high liquid content which may stress wee GI tracts....

Better give it a miss and be safe rather than sorry....?

You could save the pomegranite for the menopause! Or donate it to someone who is having the menopause lol! (Good for female humans at that time).
