Default Feeding a robo?

Since I've brought my little robo home, she doesn't seem to be eating much. I got the rest of her food that was in her cage at P@H so that got mixed in with the food I'd be feeding her in her bowl, I've also put some food right infront of her house just so she doesn't have to travel far for food. It doesn't seem like much of the food is going down so I was just wondering what foods robos love so I could put some in for her for her to eat? My hybrids love cucumber but there's none left in the house because I've fed it all to them

Make sure you slowly introduce the new food over a period of 10 days. I feed my hamsters Harry the hamster mix and they seem to enjoy it. My hamsters go crazy for mealworms and corn. They also enjoy: tiny piece of apple, a bit of cheese, porridge oats, lin seeds, cheese biscuits from P@H, sunflowers. They don't seem to like cucumber

What food mix are you feeding her? I'd keep an eye on her food mix intake, first before offering her add'l human food. The food mix, is what she really needs to be eating, first, so that she gets the nutritional balance her body needs. The added human food, is good, however, if it appears she's not eating much of the hamster mix, you don't want her filling up on human foods. Cucumbers are mostly " water", if she likes them, a little piece would be okay - but the most important, is the hamster food. Maybe try, " block" food?

ETA: You can keep track of her food intake, by weighing her. I'd keep a log of her weight, to see if she goes up, down or stays the same

I agree with Teddy there. Hamster mix is the base, the others are just optional foods. Think of it as a Food pyramid, the mix is at the bottom.

Thank you I'll probably be giving my hybrids a piece of carrot or something like that depending on what's in so I'll put a little bit in her cage as well
And as an update I saw her munching on something before

Ruby, I wouldn't give hybrids carrots, due to they are high in natural sugar. Xx

Roborovskis love sweetcorn and you may find it easy to buy a bag of frozen sweetcorn and just defrost 2 or 3 pieces a day for your Roborovski. They tend to leave the outer 'shell' and munch the bit inside just in case it looks like any hasn't been eaten.

Banana chips are also a much loved treat here by the Roborovskis.

I mix some millet in with the hamster mix as Roborovskis love millet. I bought a bag from Wilkinsons.

Silver is right, they are tiny and sometimes it doesn’t seem as if they are eating much. But I am sure your little one is eating enough and it is nothing to worry about.
