Thanks I'll have to get some millet then
And off the top of my head they've had rocket, cress, spinach and lettuce from the prebagged salad mixes, they seemed to enjoy it although they didn't eat much of it and baring in mind I only put in a tiny handful to begin with
. Also tried them with cabbage, red bell pepper, carrot, courgette, egg (both plain scrambled and hard boiled) and they didn't seem to have enjoyed any of that. I've given them a small bit of broken cracker before which they half ate, and they had a tiny tiny piece of cheese once which they ate. But other than cucumber or cress I don't really know of much fresh food that they like
I've heard that broccoli is quite popular but sadly we have none in. Generally I only give them fresh food a couple of times a week, and usually I just cut of a little wedge of cucumber and give that to them. I'll have to just keep trying different things with them. I also bought a bag of Burgess Excel country garden and herbs, I put it in with their food but I'm not quite sure they knew that it was food as they never touched it
. Such fussy little hamsters, perhaps I'll have better luck with Yuki lmao.
