Default Re: Pellets

I bought the science selective for my poorly dwarf to mix into baby food to try get her back onto actual food. It was a no go mixed in but she has started (after months of offering it) to nibble at a bit of a whole piece.
I tried it with all my hamsters, and my rescue syrian, who came with half a bag of wagg and wasn't that interested in any of the better quality of foods I offered, loves it! She will also now eat a few other brands, so I give her the science selective pellets every day, along with a bit of fresh food most days, and a bit of one of the mixes that I use. I feed a few different mixes, 2 hamster mixes, a dwarf hamster mix and a gerbil mix. All but one of the hamster mix are burgess. I also make my own mix, and this is prefered for all my other rodents, and she seems to like it second best, after the pellets.

There seems to be both sided views here.

I might just get some good quality pellets and see if they like it. It's not gonna hurt them is it? The only thing that's gonna suffer is my wallet, but oh well.

So I'm gonna have a look around to find the right ones.
