Syrians and mealworms?
Hello! Everywhere I look I see that people say that Syrians don't like mealworms! Is it with all Syrians or just some? Thank you!

Re: Syrians and mealworms?
Hello Petaleaf. Most Syrians don't care for mealworms. There are a couple who do, but, for the most part, mealies are not loved by Syrians they way they are by dwarfies. My Almond loves them to bits, but both of my Syrians either ignore them or will actually flinch away from them.

Re: Syrians and mealworms?
My syrian does not eat them. My dwarf female loves them but my dwarf male can take or leave them. He does not really bother with them. My robo does not really bother with them either. I think Screech would be pleased as there are more for her. lol.

Re: Syrians and mealworms?
My Syrian loves them (the dried ones) She will actually haunch down and eat them like they are going out of fashion! No storing them for later lol

Re: Syrians and mealworms?
I recently gave Boo my Syrian a dried mealworm for the first time.He ate the first half then suddenly started to spit it out! I tried my new robo Holly with one too but she just ignored it. I guess I will feed them to the garden birds instead!
