Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
Margo the syrian: LOVES strawberry yogurt drops, cereal puffs, kale and broccoli. HATES bell pepper and mealworms.
Lucy the robo: LOVES sunflower kernels, mealworms, and millet spray. HATES nothing that I've tried yet xD though she's not very fussed with coconut.

Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
What CB wants and will accept with gusto varies on her mood, little stinker. Meal worms are a typical favorite, as are sunflower seeds.
She HATES cucumber, but that's all I've seen her flat out reject.

Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
My two hybrids & one chinese love sunflower seeds & pumpkin seeds, freeze dried or canned mealworms, kitten kibble & the very occasional tiny piece of cheese, I think the favourite with all of them though is the seed mix I make up for them which is some budgie tonic seed mix with added flax, hemp, dari, millet & maybe some crumbled mealworms, they go mad for that.
Most popular veg seems to be pepper, radicchio, broccoli & the hamster mix you can get from ebay to grow for them , I've just been growing them some pea shoots too & they went down well.

Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
Charlie - large syrian: Loves (in order of preferance), broccoli, cheese (once a week), fresh peas, cauliflower, lettuce (occasionally), apple, sunflower seeds (those are in the food mix though), Rotastak chocolate drops (not real chocolate so safe). Doesn't eat blueberries. Haven't tried him with much else apart from Hamster food!

Good old cheddar - I give Charlie (big syrian) two small cubes once a week - cubes about half the size of a dice. I should think 1 cube would do for a dwarf.

Mild cheddar - don't know about anything else but reckon they would eat any cheese that isn't sticky or smelly!

Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
My Screech loves mealworms best and sunflower seeds. She likes dried banana too.
Marvin loves dry cat food / biscuits.
Ginger loves dry cat food / biscuits, peanuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
My robo loves dandelion leaves, teatime biscuits, porrige made up and porrige oats dry and cheese. He has only had mild cheddar.
None of them like boiled or scrambled eggs.

Re: Your hamsters favourite treats
My hamster's favorite treat has to be millet, and surprisingly she is a syrian! (I usually hear that dwarves tend to like millet a lot! )
