Thanks for the tips! I have had bad luck with trying to defrost fruits, as they are pretty soggy. I'll check the stores for scraps.

We do have a Farmers Market but it's a Saturday morning thing and not very close. My town my have one. I'll have to see. Thanks!

We going into week two of Ragna being home and I want to introduce veggies next week. I wanted to cut up three small pieces of different veggies to feed every three days e.g. cube of bell pepper, spinach and carrot. I have small packets I can use to freeze them for a months supply. Any advice n freezing fresh veg? Any tips you have in avoiding the veg becoming soggy when defrosted?

I know dwafs are prone to diabetes, so fruit isn't great.
I've only had hybrids not chinese, but occasinal peas have gone down well as a treat.
Fresh veg are normally good (google each one thou to check safe) addes a variets of nutrians and enrichment to their life.

I freeze fresh in a tub, take out in the morning to the fridge when I wake up then by the evening fully defrosted.

Ok thanks so much. So, if I dry the veggies properly and then place them into mini packets and freeze them they will be fine. Thanks again!
