Treats...

Hi,
Ok so basically im running low on hamster treats... my hammy loved the hamster popcorn but you dont get many in a pack... im going to get some more treats soon so i was wondering which treats are healthy, tasty, good value etc. (btw i like in the UK just in case it makes a difference)

We often give things like dog biscuits (e.g bonios/markies e.t.c), dried mealworms, linseed/porridge oats e.t.c. Lots of seeds in health food shops can make great pet treats sometimes

My hams love dog biscuits more than any hamster treat, lol!

Do fruit and vegetables count as treats ? My hamster was crazy for carrots , broccoli and grapes. He loved dried bananas, which you can find in many cereal boxes. He also loved monkey nuts in the shell, he was getting so excited trying to open them. A strange thing that he liked was chicken bones (the small and very thin ones). Crazy, eh?

My hamsters absolutely LOVE sunflower seeds, if those count as a treat
