Personally we would not feed these alone to a Chinese. They are quite large and he may struggle to eat them although you could break them up into smaller bits. You need to gauge yourself how much he needs to have a nice store. I would suggest you also feed a quality commercial mix. We only feed these 'hearts' as a treat now and then and our Chinese seems to enjoy the Burgess Dwarf mix and he does well on that but you can decide which one you like.
Ours always have a millet spray in the cage to nibble and we just add the budgie mix to the regular mix.

Why are these heart shaped things are so stinky? All other hamster mixes aren't smelly or just smell of healthy seed/grassy smell. However I find selective biscuits revolting smelly and making my hamster room smell. Her house wasn't smelly at all until these biscuits come along. Is it my nose or anyone else find it smelly too? /:/

They are quite easy to break up if you pinch them hard. He's not a Chinese, but my Todd gets a mixture of Burgess dwarf and these, as well as some budgie seed - a Chinese would do fine on a mixture like this.

I crush maybe 2 biscuits into little pieces and mix them in. They don't need much.

We feed a few of our dwarf hams on these, Nut (our chinese) seems to like them despite the size He just carries them in his mouth instead of pouching them

TinyHammies, the Burgess dwarf mix already has a fair amount of canary seed already in it, so adding more might just make it into a large amount of millet food. It also has loads of grass pellets which usually never get touched. I always use the other Burgess mix, the Syrian one. It does have died banana pieces in it though but these are very easy to see and remove. If you bought the Syrian version, you could then buy a 1kg bag of Canary seed mix from any good pet shop and add the whole bag to the Burgess mix. This would create a really good variety of seeds, grains and also poultry biscuits, which the Syrian version has in it.

The dried banana are the only pieces you need to remove from the Syrian version as Chinese can`t have high natural sugars. Banana is a fruit.

The rest of the mix is very good and doesn`t require anything else to be removed. It also contains mealworms but you could add more in if you wanted to. This is what I would be feeding any dwarf hamster.

The thing we find with the dwarf version is that the bits are smaller in general which is why we use the dwarf mix ourselves. Ours seem to eat bits of everything in it to be honest! Maybe our dwarfs have been strange LOL!
