Too soon for fresh food?

Hello! I feel like I should have figured this out by now, but I haven't, so I defer to the judgement of more experienced owners:

How soon is it safe to feed Syrians little pieces of fresh fruit or vegetables? I brought my wee girl Scout home a couple of days ago and am just wondering if I should start giving her a little fresh food this week, or whether I should wait until she's older/more settled. She's only about 6-8 weeks old and I don't want to give my baby an upset tummy!

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

6-8 weeks is fine to feed her little peices of fruit andveg, but i suggest starting with veg becuase fruit is more likely to upset their stomach but its ok

No problem feeding it to her now, after all breeders offer fresh veg etc. from weaning. Just start with small portions maybe a couple of times a week and keep an eye on her poos to make sure it doesn't upset her stomach. As time goes on you can gradually increase it, we tend to give ours some sort of fresh food nearly every day. I've got some mung beans soaking at the moment as they seem to be the favourite with mine and they've not had any for a while

I got some broccoli today, I'll start Scout off with a little bit of that. I'll be sure to introduce the veg gradually and keep an eye on her.
