If he's never had it before then give him some time to get used to it! He still might love the stuff in time, or he's just one of them that isn't bothered by it. Some of mine demolish the lot in a couple of days, others it lasts over a week if not 2, so just leave it with him for now I'd say

Buttons SNAP. I got some for Jeffro to try today. Had a tiny nibble and not looked at it since!

I've left it in his cage a few days but still no signs of him eating it, maybe he's just not a millet lover
