daffodile petals and dandelion petals???

Hello! I was wondering if Syrian hamsters can eat petals from Daffodiles and dandelions?? I have picked a few dandelion leaves and some have the full head and have them soaking for a bit.. was just wondering about the Daffodiles?? I dry the dandelions overnight before I give them too Lloyd

Dandelions are Ok, the leaves preferably, but you should not feed daffodils ever. They are toxic to most animals.
Dandelions you shouldn't give too much of as they are a natural diuretic which causes the animals to wee a lot.

Yup to the dandelions, no to the daffodils. Daffodils, like Souffle said, are highly toxic to animals. You can give them clover blossoms if you want. Just make sure that they haven't been sprayed with weed killer or the like. Clovers and Clover blossoms are all edible and have a tart flavor to them, or so I've heard. I've never partaken in them.

Ok thank you! I have never given him the daffodils..but I only give him bits of dandelion and will see if he likes the petals tomorrow.. I don't know if there are clover blossoms yet but I have seen some 3 leaf clovers..would that be okay?
I always soak the stuff I find outside cause Ive got a dog
