Question woodlands Blackcurrant and apple mix

I bought woodlands Blackcurrant and apple mix thing from p@h, It contains blackcurrant leaves and what must be apple tree branches, Are these safe for both syrian and hybrids? I have given both of them some and they love it, the ate the leaves and chewed on the branches.

I don't know what blackcurrant is, so I don't know if its safe or not. Apple leaves and branches, I know, are safe.

Both my Syrians had this mix, one loved it and the other ignored it! They never had any problems though
