Best and favourite babyfood
Hey, I thought it might be good idea to start a thread collating all of our hammies favourite baby foods... What's good, what isn't..
I think it will be useful to us just buying for hammies but it will be especially good for sick hammies who need medication "hidden" in their food.
I'm a newbie to the whole baby food thing so mine is a bit singular..
Porridge - both Cinnamon & Mitch LOVE this one (I have to wrestle the spoon off them Lols)

re: Best and favourite babyfood
"hipp organic breakfast oats or porridge" I think it is. But I'll check it next time for sure. My little gertrude will sell her soul for this and I do freeze it in ice tray and defrost and give her once a week.
This is a great tread as I'm always looking for some enrichment for my little girls' life. Every little helps as our little hammies live only a very short period of time and I try to give or provide all I can afford or do for her

Re: Best and favourite babyfood
Mine haven't had much. Seen as though I've just started weaning my daughter I use packets mixed with water.
Heinz/cow & gate breakfasts. Lasts longer, so works out cheaper and no need to freeze
Oh yea and if you've got an Aldi or Lidl nearby, they do jars. The Heinz custard and rice pudding in little tins are only 22p

Re: Best and favourite babyfood
With regard to hybrids and diabetes prone hams, some of the baby foods have a lot of sugar so can anyone add information about any baby foods that can be a treat these please? For example, I think the Heinz creamed porridge would be a no no?

Re: Best and favourite babyfood
It would be a no no in regards to diabetes prone hams but is fine for the others in small doses

Re: Best and favourite babyfood
Why don't you mash up some leftovers or throw some meat and veg in a blender and freeze
