Re: Carrot tops/leaves?
God I hope so. I just bought a large pack of 'bushy' carrots and gave the tops to the hams. I don't see why you couldn't...I think we would have heard of it by now?

Re: Carrot tops/leaves?
Ok, I just did a bit of googling. They are edible for humans & very good for you, unless you are allergic, or eat them ALL the time. I have found one hamster reference on Hamster Hideout saying it is good for constipation. So here's hoping...

Re: Carrot tops/leaves?
Well, all my hams are still alive and healthy still. So that's a good sign.

Re: Carrot tops/leaves?
When I was little, my dad would say that they were poisonous. Then again, my dad also says wild strawberries are poisonous too. Either he was misinformed and is too stubborn to admit he is wrong (which could very well be the case as he is very, very stubborn) or he is joking about it. He does have a very dry sense of humor.
