I give my hams 3 or 4 a week as a treat, young little ones get 1 a day since they need the extra protein and fat.

My 3 month old syrian girl seemed to like dried mealworm from burgess dwarf mix. so I've just bought biggish tub of dried mealworm from co-op today. And woke her up and gave her 1 she grubbed it from my fingers and ate so fast as if never had a meal in her entire life!! So I gave her another one!! 2 mealworms a day is too much?!!! They are about inch long. I'm worried now. Only thing is my hammy is smallish and light weight (108gm) so it might help her gaining some weight. But anyways how many mealworms for young Syrian hamster?
