Harry Hamster Food UK
Does anyone use this, is it better than p@h premium mix? I can't be sure but I don't think my syrian bear is eating it anymore, he used to love the sunflower seeds and corn etc, but over the last week while I have offered him a sunflower seed and he turns his nose up, yet I offer a dried meal worm and he loves them. He will also eat his treats. I fill his bowl with food and he empties it, just to hoard it I think. I'm just unsure what's going on with him.
He is roughly 1yr 2 months, is it too late to start him on new food?

Re: Harry Hamster Food UK
Fluffy didn't really like Harry Hamster. The biscuits are very big and she didn't eat them very often.

My Syrian and my Robo are on Harry Hamster mixed with Selective Science and they both love the foods. I just break the big bits up if they can't manage them
It is better than the P@H mixes though

Re: Harry Hamster Food UK
We really prefer harry hamster over P@H foods, if we had to just use one mix it'd be that (other than for the diabetes prone/diabetic hams).
Its never too late to change a hams diet, we changed Whizz a week ago and she turned 2 last December lol

Re: Harry Hamster Food UK
All four of mine are on HH at the moment, we have to take some bits out for the dwarfs but they all eat it much better than the P@H mix. They're all maintaining a better weight now, all of them were a little under on the P@H mix but the HH has sorted them all out. Especially Holly. I would always get HH over P@H but that's just me and my hams. It's down to the individual ham what they like best I suppose.

Re: Harry Hamster Food UK
I have Wolverine on the p@h mix at the moment, but I bought a bag of the premium stuff just to see if he likes it better. Not tried it yet as I've still got a bit of the other stuff left. Do you introduce the new mix slowly or just at once?

Re: Harry Hamster Food UK
I give my dwarf the burgess dwarf mix and my syrian p@h premium mix, but I think I may try HH for both of them, but remove the things that aren't good for dwarfs. I tried to get meal worms from my local p@h, but every time I go there they have none and both my hamsters love them.
