The fresh ones are better for them than dried, I've read another post stating that there's something on the skin of the dried ones. They aren't dangerous to feed but shouldn't be fed in larger amounts. I'm going to get a mini fridge for the animal room and then try the hams on live ones, I'm not squeamish at all.

I know the dried ones are very oily, I don't mind worms as much as locusts and things but they're still a bit gross!
