Yes, Tesco sell small bags of buckwheat aswell as healthfood shops. I take about half a teaspoonful, place it in a small dish of cold water, leave it for a few hours and this makes it softer. You can add boiled water to it, but I like to soften it slowly rather than cook it! This amount should last you a few days. Just remember to change the cold water a few times a day to keep it fresh.

My lil Robo is on a combination of Harry Hamster, Selective Science and JR Farm Dwarf Hamster Feast and I get an empty bowl from him more often than not
