Default Napoleon's Super Store!

We went to clean Napoleon out today, and think we might have been slightly overfeeding him!

We were amazed to find this much, its no wonder he's so small if he never eats anything! It can't be very comfortable sleeping on a pound of food!

Anyone else have Mad Stashing Hamsters?

Maybe Napoleon is saving it for a midnight snack mind you looks like it will be a long night. I always find it amazing how they can sleep like that must feel uncomfortable. Our little Chinese girl hides just her peanuts in her tubes but never in her bed.

Bless him. Charlie stores all his food in two corners but it's never that much

you think thats bad?? you should see chips house!! She actually has to move out of it because theres no room for her! I do wonder if she eats any of it As soon as her bowl is filled she takes all the stuff she likes out of it. And then begs for more food which she snatches off you. Right madam!

Aww, bless him, that's so cute!!

He looks like he's trying to play it down in the second pic, " there's nothing to see here mum, just carry on as you are......"

When I went away for a week to Portugal I took Sammy over to my relatives. When I came back his corner litter tray (which he never actually liked) was piled high with food.
It was similar or even a bit more to that piccy Apparently they'd fed him the right amount but whenever he was awake they gave him some more I've never been so shocked when I saw Sammy's pile

When I find this I tend to cut back and only feed a tablespoonful every second day to try and encourage the store to be eaten a bit, especially as my guys get so many snacks each day
