Exclamation DIY yogurt bites?

I've seen homemade treat sticks, i've made homemade hay rolls, but the one product i really want for my hammy but am unsatisfied with in stores are yogurt bites or bars. Anyone successfully made any?

I'd be worried b/c human yogurt has to be refrigerated... idk.

Refrigerated food isn't a bad thing as I give my hams baby food which is kept in the fridge Not too sure about the yogurt though...

Vitakraft (german company) make nice milk & honey yoghurt drops. My syrian loves them but he only gets half of one every few days. He`s approaching his second year now so I like to make sure he gets something tasty that he enjoys, but he also gets small pieces of raw, fresh veg and fruit which are more natural.

I wouldn`t particularly make dairy products for hamsters at home because it could harbour bacteria if it goes wrong. Freezing and refrigeration needs to be done properly even for human food, so I wouldn`t risk it with something as small as a hamster. Especially a syrian as they have delicate guts at the best of times. You would be best sticking to small amounts of safe raw veg like carrot, broccoli, baby sweetcorns and apple.

ive never made any of my own but i also agree on the vitakraft drops my hamsters love them and they prefer them to the rotastak drops. i also use the naturals dairy drops which are pretty much like vitakraft ones, and my hams go crazy for them .

im not sure how you would make your own drops except you would need to freeze and then refrigerate them.
