Isn't Almonds bad for hamsters though? They have Cyanic Acid in them.

Let me clear that up.
The bitter almond, a certain type of almond, yields hydrogen cyanide, which is what you speak of. Oddly, it was once used, in very small amounts, as a cure all. Unfortunately even small doses of this compound result in severe problems so it was stopped.
The kind of almond you see at the store is the more commonly found sweet almond. In fact, all commercially grown almonds are sweet almonds. They don't contain hydrogen cyanide in them and are completely safe to consume by people and hamsters alike.
