mackerel seasons coming in again soon as we have a blanket ban on buying fish from the supermarkets, chip shops etc as we believe that trawler fishing is inhumane . so we catch all our fish our selves and how they should be caught I must add on a rod and line. would it be ok to give the hamster some mackerel cooked or uncooked I just want your guys opinions?

I think it may be too salty and fatty for hamsters Matty. Fish is not a normal thing that hamsters would have in the wild so personally I would give it a miss. It may make them smell a bit especially if they sneakily stored some too
